Analysis of Protecting Freedom of Expression on the Campus
Derek Bok, a former president of Harvard, published an essay, “ Protecting Freedom of Expression on the Campus”, in 1991, due to the turmoil caused for theby displaying of a ConfederatedConfederate flag from a the window of a Harvard dormitory. Act; an act that was followed by the hanging of a swastika in protest, but both acts caused a huge controversy among the student population thatwho were upset and asking for the remotionremoval of those involved. In this particular case, we can try to define what is freedom of speech?speech is, and whether or not it has limits, and what they are or involve.
