Presently I am working with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Government of Pakistan, as an Inspector of International Taxes (International Taxes Wing), which works; working in collaboration with the OECD and relevant United Nations body(s)bodies dealing with the tax matters at thea global level. I have been interested to pursue advancein pursuing an advanced education in global economics and development studies, with specific focus on Europe sincefor a long time, but due to familial reasons, I was unable to take any practical stepsteps in this regard. However, now I am quite free and relaxed in terms of family matters and thus plan andI intend to pursue my Joint MasterMasters Degree in Economics of Globalisation and European Integration under the ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarship Program in order toprogram. I believe this will enhance and improve my skills and vision in the field of international economics and development cooperation, andincluding trade between the developed and developing countries, with a special focus on European integration. The European Union is the leading Organizationorganization which has played an important role in the globalisation process and thus brought about huge benefits and opportunities for the Europe as well as for the rest of the world. andIt has helped improvingimprove living standards over the past 50 years oweddue to world economic integration and trade openness. I intend to have stronggain wide knowledge and the advanced skills to understandingunderstand globalisation dynamics and economic integration. I want to excel in my skills in academic research, as well as in policy areas and commercial strategies. I am particularly focused to gainon gaining knowledge and skills related to the causes of imbalances in the global economy, and how to manage the existing imbalances in collaboration with individual countries and international institutions.
