Nelson Mandela wanted a change and that is what he was going to do! 1961 an ANC military organization, Umkhonto we Sizwe ("Spear of the Nation"), Mandela as its president, it iswas formed to resist the apartheid andapartheid using peaceful protests. The Spear of the Nation military wing hadcommitted subsequent acts of violence and sabotage and led, leading to the arrests of key leaders of the program. The ANC and the Spear of the Nation program did amazing things to change the way people think. Like:For instance, they created a document and told everyone in South Africa to putlist their demands.
