We allare all born in a place whichthat we doesn’tdon’t choose and accept this place as it is, with all of its good orand bad sides. But while growing up mostMost of us form a specific opinion onabout our habitat while growing up. I wannawant to talk about the pros and cons of living in a big city, because I was born and livelived my whole life in a place like that.
At firstFirst, I’m gonnaI will list some pros. The main of thempro, I think, is that a big city provides you with a variety of everything. Shops; shops, restaurants, museums orand theaters. — youYou can go wherever you want and you will never be bored. It’s also important that salaries in metropolises are usually higher, thenthan in towns, but prices of goods are the same, so living in a big city iscan be more economical. And lastLast but not least, most large companies are located in metropolisescities, so there’s a much better chance of gettingobtaining a good, career-oriented job.
Now I’m gonnaI will list cons. One that bothers me a lot — It’sis that it’s hard to reach some spots. Sometimes you can waste over a few hours driving across town because of a long distance andand/or a traffic jam. Strong noises couldcan also be really unpleasant as well, especially if your househome is near to a highway. And the thingsomething many people do not think about — the ecologyis that the air pollution in big cities iscan be quite bad due to factory exhausts and car backfiresexhaust, which can affect your health.
These argumentspoints may not work for some people depending on their preferences. For me, the pros of living in a big city worthoutweigh all the cons.
