Dear Mrs. Brooks,

Recently I heard a rumor that took me rather by surprise from another company colleague. He said that my department, foreigforeign dictionary, could be closed down. Without wanting to be rude, I don't see any reason to take this brutal decision. So, I am asking you Mrs. Brooks, why would you want to close the foreign dictionary departament?department? Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I believe there are other departments that are sailing lessselling fewer books than ours bookswe are. Maybe, you want to close our department because you think that foreign dictionaries are useless because of the internet. I am joking of course. However , Itit would be great if you could tell me who wants to close the department. One last question, what will happen withto me and minemy department colleagues? I don’t want to pressure you, but we all have families and need this job to live. Please make the best decision for everyone!
