With more than 7,500 islands, the Philippines is one of the world's largest archipelago,archipelagos. Not surprisingly, It’sit’s home to some of the most populous and diverse ecosystems, making it the perfect destination for diving and snorkellingsnorkeling, or just marvellingmarveling at the crystalline water lying on the beach.

Even though choosing only a few of those many islands is not an easy task. Me and, my girlfriend weand I visited a large part of Palawan, from Coron to Puerto Princesa, Bohol and we ended up with an “off the beaten track” island, which was Siquijor. The highlight of our journal was definitely the islandsisland's expedition (4 days) between Coron and El Nido, an unforgettable experience.

As it was a couplescouple's vacation, we were mainly looking to relax and we went there at the end of January and beginningJanuary/beginning of February (3 weeks),; a great choice considering that the majority of the Philippines receives their dry season from November to April but is also considered the peak season.

I strongly believe that this was a perfect itinerary, and it will help those who plan to be in the country for three weeks. I wish you’ll follow my steps to have the same memorable experience we had, with a mix of adventure and relaxation.
