I have struggled my entire life, but I am finishing strong. Some people ask me how I would describe myself, and, usually, I would usually say I’m shy and awkward, but. But if we were to getbe more specific, it would come out a bit differentdifferently. I would say, as Ashley Jane Samford, that I'm pretty good at problem-solving, musical, and artistic, and as beingI'm quite the old soul.
Well, for starters, I have managed to keep upkeep good grades in school, throughout my life, despite having medical issues that caused me to be absent often. I was born seven weeks early, with three x chromosomes, had lung problems throughout my life, anxiety, and several other things. These issues came aboutcaused me missingto miss a lot of class/school, for example... Although I had missed so much and was close to failing, I was stubborn and persistent enough to get my grades up in a week, right before finals. I studystudied very hard and hope to make it far in the future.
Music and art are just two of mythe passions, that have made me who I am today. In sixth6th grade, I started howto learn to play the cello and I am still playing it now. I have drawn ever since I was little and in my 8th-grade8th grade art class, I got a very high score in an art competition known as Jr VASE. I Ihave also have just started to play the ukulele and hope to learn some songs by the end of the school year of 2019-2020.
