I am writing to you to discuss a serious matter that is beinghas been overlooked in recent times. Imagine breathing in air that is so filthy that your lungs plead for you to stop breathing nin and to start breathing out. This is what the world will come to if the worlds forest arentworld's forests are not looked after.

forFor the past 10 years, these trees have been taking in the carbon dioxide and methane we produce formfrom factories, while releasing oxygen inback into the atmosphere for all living things to survive, always covering up our mistakes.

But, recently, we have been cutting down these innocent trees at a faster rate than ever seen before seen. Reports from the government of Brazil have stated that around 2 billion tonestonnes of trees are selectively logged each day.

If we don't downreduce the rate of deforestation, the results could be catastrophic,: more carbon dioxide and methane are allowed to be present in the atmosphere, contributing to the greenhouse gas effect, subsequently leading to an increase onin the infamous process of global warming. This will have severe consequences as it will melt the polar ice caps, making the sea levellevels rise, this will causecausing more flooding occurring and more natural disasters happening.

A heartbreaking example of this is a kidchild in Bangladesh callednamed Jamal, his. His town was flooded, and due to his low financial statusstatusm=, his poor qualitypoor-quality house was destroyed, now. Now Jamal is homeless and has no shelter. Do you want your kids to suffer the same fate?

finallyFinally, I want to conclude by saying that if we don't ensure the safety of the world's forestforests, it will have significant impacts toon our future generation, as itgenerations. It is expected that by 2050 we will have a drastic and severe change in the earth's climate, almost apocalyptic.
