Communication has provedproven to be the life blood of the organization. All activities remain in a passive state until communication is infused. The effectiveness of management in adopting a channel for sharing information, determines the outcome of its results and clienteles satisfactions. This paper examinedexamines communications and its impacts on public sector management using Edo State Fire Service as a case study. SecondaryA secondary source of data has served as a source of research material. The core objective of the research was hingehinged on suggesting better communication techniques that should be adopted by the agency. Challenges of communication in Fire Service of Edo State were identified. Also, and management role was examined to ensure better performance of the service and was also highlighted in the course of the work. Recommendations made waswere that the service is to carry out massive verbal communication sensitizations of the public through the use of mechanical in a manner of modern social media which has greater outreached was madeoutreach.
