Finally, Monday came and we went to the hospital. While waiting for our turn, I noticed several women in the Breast Unit’s reception. Most of them were accompanied with someone from their family or friends and I noticed that Abhi and I looked the youngest. It wasn’t a compliment in the current situation; it meant that we were about to face the bad news early on in our lives. It also affirmed that cancer shows no mercy; it does not discriminate - old and young, rich and poor, any religion or skin colour – anyone at all can get it.
