We are Eureka, a STEM club founded by our students from the International School of Hannover, Germany. Recently, 5 members of our group are participatingparticipated in the Barcelona International Youth Science Competition. We wish to make the most out of this opportunity and are contacting you regarding one of our main goals: making a film.

The main purpose of this film is to act as door openerdoor-opener for students like us who might not be familiar with the process of getting involved with the world of scientific advancement. Having done a bit of research on the matter, we came to the realisation that young people find various fields of science important and interesting, yet there is a common disinterestlack of interest in pursuing a career in such fields. A number of surveys conducted by the European Commission DG Research found out that part of this disinterestambivalence comes from being poorly informed. It’s easy to get discouraged by thinking you’re too young to understand complex technologies and ideas, and often the school curriculums have certain limitations when it comes to currentcurrently advancing technologies.
