Dear Professor Myers: I am contacting you to see if there is any way possible I can complete the discussion boards that I received zeros for, but I am aware of the the grading policy and I respect your decision if you choose not to let me. Those zeros represent several of my bad days of being discouraged fromin my personal life and, working several hours, and bad time management. I do believe I will receive a C in your class after doing all the extra credit and I consider an C as a failure. I enjoyed taking your online class, I just wish I did a little better. I was told it never hurts to ask so I appreciate any of your decisions. Thank you.
