I definitely agree that employees being insensitive to these victims is a bit extreme. Each victim should be treated with respect, whether the case is minor or even more serious. A victim becomes a victim the minute that they are victimized. If the victim is not being treated corrwectlly by the employees of the criminal justice system, then the victimsy will feel discouraged to even want to report the crime. I think that being able to provide food and water to the victims while they are waiting is a great idea; it could help to calm the victimsr nerves. aAnd providing the necessary transportation for the victim is definitely neccessaryded.
