I was born and raised in one of the refugee camps in Kenya, and I spent approximately two decades in a refugee camp, where I finished school level education. I came to the United States in 2011. When I arrived the United States, I got an opportunity to attend college and enrolled in a Ccommunity Ccollege. I graduated from community college, and thaen transferred to the School of Management at the University of Akron in fall 2014, and I will be graduating from School of Management in spring 2017.

My first attentivwareness inof health related professions started in a rudimentary form as an extra-curricular activity in high school, in my country Kenya, where I worked as a peer educator on the topics such as HIV/AIDS, first aid, bird flu, blood donation, substance abuse, and human trafficking. My approachability in a health related subject has been started with my work in Caritas and UNHCR, wedged with consistent learning and taking basic health related trainings.

I want to pursue Nthe nursing evening-weekend program at Kent, Nursing sSchool because the evening-weekend program at Kent Nurising schoola perfectly fits for me. After my nursing degree at Crouse, I want to chasommence graduate studies in the same playing field.
