Hello everyone,

My name is Laura Ferrer and I am a proud mother of a 2 year old boy named Elijah. C
I'm currently living in the city of Boston. I'm from New Jersey originally.
Two months ago I began my journey and decided to depart my job of 5 years at Massachusetts General Hospital to pursued my passion in the non-profit area.
I took a position as a Care mManager for Boston Elder Services and let me tell you, Iit's the best decision I ever made, i.
It's an amazing experience to wake up every morning and do something you feel strongly and passionate about it.

My days are full of challenges and new experiences, our mission is to help the elderly remain safe in the community, we provide high quality, responsive, supportive services and programs for the elderly and disabled population in need.
I'm not going to lie, it's lots of work, but so worthy and rewarding by the end of the day.

To be honest, I've never been the type of person, that leav writes their feelings i on a piece of paper.
But this job consist ins of writing every observation, details and progress of somebody else's life 80% of the time.

At the beginning it was a bit intimidating., Bbut the past couple of months have helped me evolve as a writer.
It has allowed me to be more confident and clear with my thoughts.
