There is not a day that goes by where you do not meet a challenge,;‭ ‬it is in the very breath of livingfe.‭ ‬When there is a day I do not think I can get out of bed, knowing I am too tired to face a particular task,‭ ‬or two,‭ to face something ‬I know will confront me,‭ ‬Iit is in the will,‭ ‬in the mind,‭ ‬that settles the coaurse.‭ ‬With the will, you raise a tired lagging body out of bed,‭ ‬feeding and stretching it.‭ ‬It is the will that puts a pleasant calm expression on your face and breathes deeply as you walk out to meet the task(s‭) ‬at hand.‭ ‬And iIt is to the relief and satisfaction of your body when the day is through and you find you are not crushed and broken.‭; ‬Tthat you have in- fact gained permission to relax and enjoy the end of your day,‭ ‬knowing you have done what was needed of you and that your problems will never remain the same if you continue forward.‭ ‬For me, China would be,‭ ‬for me,‭ ‬the opportunity to show, undisputedly, the advancements made during my time sacrificed to the care of those closest to me.‭
While I have no regrets about helping my family,‭ ‬I am aware of the stop button it placed on all the plans I made throughout my high school years.:‭ ‬Pputting aside University,‭ ‬the delayed opportunities to travel the world,‭ ‬volunteer more in the community,‭ ‬and the time to live on my own.‭
Growing up I had relatives in England,‭ ‬Panama,‭ ‬and all over the United States.‭ ‬At the age of fourteen it wasn’t a big deal for me to get on a plane and go halfway across the country for a month’s stay with an aunt.‭ ‬This is far from two years,‭ ‬but these early experiences taught me how to effectively deal with the longings for familiarity whether it was particular people,‭ ‬places,‭ ‬or just a certain comfort food your soul is searching for.‭ ‬I've learned fortitude and graciousness will take you far down the road and make any place you live pretty almuchost a second home.‭ ‬China,‭ ‬its language,‭ ‬and its people have always held for me a wonderful place in my mind.‭ ‬In China, I would be able to not only impoart the knowledge of the English I’m privileged to have as a native speaker,‭ ‬but the unbelievable joy to be had from classic and modern English literature with its subtle pirouette of phrases.‭ ‬I would hope to impart more than rudimentary knowledge of the language with my class and its assignments-‭ ‬through movies,‭ ‬songs,‭ ‬and other mediums which engage sounds with their meanings and imagery with their words.‭ ‬I aim to inspire a sincere relationship with the language and its many meanings that will begin a lifetime love affair with not only American English,‭ ‬but its people,‭ ‬its culture,‭ ‬and its novels, too.‭ ‬If there's any one thing I could have said in truth to make you say yes,‭ ‬please Imagine I said it.
