My name is Ryan Pickney. As my audience for tToday, I am going to entertain you with my writing skills. Classmates! I am a student, husband, father, employede, and a small business owner. What I’m trying to say is, just my choice of schools to complete my education was rhetoric. I choose Brown Mackie College because it is compatible with my already hectic life and work schedule (a match made in heaven). I’m four classes into my degree plan here at Brown Mackie College, and have already faced a test of my faith, character, determination, and patience’s. That test came in the form of a FUNDAMENTALS OF MATH CLASS. I started that class with a 93%, and by mid-term I was derailed like the Seattle Seahawks who were stopped, by the New England Patriots by interception to win the super bowl. It all started MID-TERM morning when I had to rush my wife to the emergency room and miss the mid-term. That zero for the mid-term drastically dropped my grade point average. The next three Quizzes I failed, because I lacked the focus I needed to be successful in a math class,. Due to the news that my wife had to have surgery to remove her GALLBLADDERgallbladder. With everything riding on me passing the FINAL-EXAM that was worth two grades, and my wife’s surgery was also on the same day of the exam. I shifted to the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS of Super Bowl XLIX instead of being the Seattle Seahawks, to I passed the class with a 79% mark!
