I find John Green’s video very informative and interesting. This is because, for a video that only belasts eleven minutes, he is awesome at explaining all about world history. He emphasizes that, in the past, wars were the response to scarce resources such as food, land and sex, but nowadays killing and fighting is mostly because of different viewpoints. Currently, wars are mostly exist because people are extremely entitled to their own opinion. John Green appointeds out that, going back thousands of years ago, many things were violent and that Hobbes' statement about human nature was completely right. In my opinion, wars are pointless because they bring more bad than good at all times. Yet, as John Green explained, humans take pleasure in the activity of fighting, andwhich is pursued for its own sake. This statement only assures me that humans are mostly described as Wwarlike, but this doesn't mean that the circle of violence circle can’t be broken. Can war ever be justified? I believe so, but only if and only if it’s for protecting from harm,. tThe difference is that, in the past and present, theyumans have been doengaging itn wars to gain control over other’s' benefits and lands (states, countries).
