The blessings have overflowed as we’ve
watched our eldest grandson, Parker, come of age this
year, give his heart to a very special girl, Ella, and sign
with NIU for soccer and studies next fall. With Jim’s
$❤$ help, Parker even took me (the luckiest Grandma
on the planet) along on his Villarreal NE Academy
“futbol” training in Spain, for Thanksgiving! No baked
turkey or pumpkin pie were to be had, but we did
gather lifetime memories and treasured new friends!
Spain was the best gift, ever, except for one, of course
. . . the FREE gift of salvation! Christ came so that He
could give that ultimate gift of grace the very moment
He died on the cross. His death paid the penalty for
man’s sin, once and forever, saving all who believe.
